                        Begin the children's adventure in gardening by potting their own herb to take home and care for.  The “Adopt an Herb” booth encourages children to learn about gardening and growing in a fun way!

 Presented by Liz Campanella, Uprooted Gardens

 Be part of a lively discussion on growing herbs. Learn which herbs grow well in this area, and the best way to harvest them.  Liz will guide you through the proper care for herbs in our region.

Presented by Mary Dunford, Natures Herb Farm


There is a lot of information on the internet about Ginger from growing to uses.  One of the easiest ways to use Ginger is to make tea.  Mary will talk about the history of Ginger, some of the many of the uses of this versatile herb, and how to store it.

 Stop by and learn about the wonders of Ginger!  Gee Gee will be on hand to talk about the importance of including Ginger in our diet, and Connie will show us how to make Sesame Ginger Dressing and using Ginger in Fried Rice.  Come and learn with us!
