Watermelon & Cantaloupe Infused Vodka


In a pitcher, place small slices of watermelon & cantaloupe.

Add 2 teaspoons lime juice

2 Tablespoons of simple syrup

2 ounces of watermelon liquor.

Put in 1 ounce of vodka for each serving so if serving 6 people, add 6 ounces of vodka...

Top up with Topo Chico or bottled water and serve over ice.


Watermelon + Basil Martini


2 slices peeled & thinly sliced cucumber

1 cup crushed ice

2 sprigs of fresh basil

1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon white sugar

Thinly sliced cucumber for garnish


Method


place 2 slices of cucumber in bowl with basil and sugar, smash with a fork until softened

add 1 teaspoon of watermelon vodka (see above recipe) to loosen

Place crushed ice in a cocktail shaker and transfer cucumber basil mixture into shaker

top with remaining watermelon, vodka, lime juice and simple syrup

Shake and strain into 2 well chilled martini glasses

garnish each with I slice of cucumber
